If you have followed me at all, you will know that I believe that God should be a part of every part of your life and that includes your business. (I even have a whole Mormon Mompreneur podcast about that.) Every business that I have started has come about because I have felt prompted to do it. Becoming a Maskcara artist was no different. But, when I got that impression, I was…um…resistant. I knew what an MLM was and I didn’t want to be a part of “one of those” businesses.
The more I found out about Maskcara, the more I saw the difference in how they do business. So, I joined and have loved it. I’ve been able to be a business mentor and coach and it is the best. My heart nearly burst when Leslie, my downline girl, wrote me an email telling me how amazed she was that she set up a whole welcome email sequence for her potential customers. She learned that by taking my course that I provide for my artists. That, right there, is what makes my heart sing.
The other reason I love the business of Maskcara is because the world of MLM’s is changing. Can you feel it? More and more people are finding that when they build a brand around who they are and naturally incorporate Maskcara into that brand, they can sell without being salesy.
The women behind Maskcara are amazing. They are hard workers. They have big hearts. I sent a survey out to them to find out their “why” of running their business. Almost all of them were doing it to help make money for their family, get out of debt or help other women see how beautiful they are.
I have gotten to know a lot of other artists and I see how hard they work and how much passion they have. I wanted to speak directly to them but have struggled to find the right way to teach about the business of Maskcara. Well, that was until I got another prompting to start a podcast. So, without further ado, I present to you the Maskcara Artist Podcast with Michelle Gifford.
In these podcasts, I will be teaching you solid business principles and applying them to the Maskcara business. Each episode will be about 15 minutes long and will give you clear action steps to take each week. They are designed to help you grow a business that succeeds, frees and exceed all of your expectations.
