Yeah, I know it is Thursday, but Easter is only a few days away and I had to share this before it was too late to use that Amazon Prime shipping.
I was standing alone in Target, which doesn’t happen very often, and I was on a mission to get that Easter shopping done. As I stared at the aisles and aisles of candy, my sugar level began to rise. There has to be another option for Easter baskets than loads and loads of sugar coated marshmallows. I went to the toy aisle and was left with two options spending a million dollars on legos or buying something that would break within minutes of opening. Sheesh.
I left Target with a sack full of candy and a wish for something more fun for my kids. But that feeling didn’t last long. I found this amazing solution on Amazon:
Road Tape by Smithers Productions
This road tape is extra wide, sticks to walls and floors (I tried wood and tile) and comes off without leaving any residue. These roads didn’t make it in the Easter baskets because my kids found them and begged me to let them use them. And I don’t regret it one bit. They played for hours quietly and nicely (that doesn’t happen all the time).
I met the owner and creator of this road tape online. She is a mom to young boys, just like me, and is creating this tape for moms who want to add an element of imaginative play to their toy box. She’s my kind of girl.

I’m just glad that I found this before summer when it is too hot to go outside and we need a littler creative diversion.
[…] For example, if you sell tape that looks like roads that kids can play on with their toy cars, (see the amazingness here) then your story is that kids have a lot of fun using the road tape and it is easy put on and take […]
