If you have a content creator in your life—or you are the creator—then you already know that great content doesn’t just happen. It takes the right tools, the right setup, and a little bit of strategy (you know I had to say it). After coaching thousands of creators and building content for my own seven-figure brand, I’ve tested just about every mic, light, and tripod on the internet. So this year, I rounded up the best gift ideas for content creators—from beginner-friendly gear to pro-level tools that make recording, editing, and showing up on camera easier (and a whole lot more fun). Whether you’re shopping for Christmas, birthdays, or upgrading your own creator toolkit, this guide has everything you need to elevate your videos, Reels, YouTube content, and beyond.
Best Microphones for Content Creators
Crystal-clear audio for Reels, TikToks, YouTube, and podcasting.
Wireless Lavalier Mics for iPhone/Android $20 phone mic — Perfect for talking-to-camera videos.
These microphones plug directly into your phone and are small enough to throw in your purse or bag.
$40 phone mic This mic is worth the extra money. It is more substantial and I like the quality a little better than the smaller ones.

Rode Wireless GO II $146 phone mics — My go-to for creators who want studio-level sound. Can be used with your phone or camera. If using your phone, then make sure to get the cord to plug into your phone.

USB Podcast Mics
The Blue Yeti $95— Great for recording courses or voiceovers. I started with this mic and recorded my podcast with the Blue Yeti for years before upgrading to my Shure mic. These mics are great for podcasting, recording YouTube videos, Zoom calls, or any other content that requires professional sound on your computer.
Shure Microphone arm holder $129 If you spring for the Shure Mic, you’ll need a mic holder. I like this one because it clamps to my desk and I can move it wherever I need it to go.

Must-Have Lighting Content creator tools
Make every video look bright, polished, and professional. I’m giving you a wide range of quality and pricing. I started out with the basic, inexpensive ring light and now use the Lume Cube ones. Especially as we go into the winter, darker months. It is nice to have some high-quality lighting so that, regardless of the outside darkness, I can record well-lit videos in my office.
Phone ring light $30 An inexpensive ring light that is great for beginners.
$52 Computer Light. This light can be clipped to your computer to make your Zoom calls look more professional and polished.
Lume Cube lighting 2 for $349 These lights are the ones that I have in my office, and I use them a lot in the winter when it’s darker outside.
Selfie Ring Light If you really want a good ring light, Lume Cubes are the best. The quality and the colors make for great lighting for your videos.
Phone + Camera Content creator tools
Tripods & Stands
Carmount phone stand $13. This is my favorite find of 2025. You clip it to your visor and can move anywhere that you need to with a 360-degree turning radius. For $13, it is a must-buy.
FlipStik Phone Case kick stand $29
Compact Tripod $19 Portable Tripod/Selfie Stick: I use this when traveling because it is so compact and light. It isn’t super sturdy but I like having something that I can throw in a backpack and take with me on trips.
Small Phone Tripod $16 Tripod— This is the tripod I keep in my office, ready to film whenever inspiration strikes. It’s inexpensive and perfect to drag around my house wherever there is good light.
Tripod for overhead shots $129 —Filming overhead can be really tricky, but not with this tripod. You can move it wherever you need it to go, and it also has a place for your iPad.
Gooseneck tripod $29: This tripod has an adjustable arm so you can move your phone higher or lower.
Camera Tools For Content Creators
Sony Camera for Vlogging : I use this video camera for my YouTube videos and put it on the tripod below. I like to have it set up in my office so that I can film whenever I want to.
Mirrorless Creator Camera (Sony A6400 / Canon M50) This is my go-to pro camera for all of my photoshoots and videos. This camera and lens is a great start to your photography kit.
Insta 360 WebCam $199. I’m in Zoom meetings every day, so having a camera that makes me look good is a must. This one is easy to use and makes a big difference in quality video.
At the end of the day, the key to creating great content is making it easy to create great content—and having the right tools in your creator toolkit is what makes that possible. From microphones to lighting to tripods and phone accessories, these are the content creation tools I personally use and recommend to every Instagram and social media creator.
