3 Steps to Choosing the Best Showit Design
Are you ready to upgrade your business website? Ever since I invested in my website, I feel more confident in sharing it with potential clients. I want you to have that too. It can be hard to know which website design is best for your business type and what options to weigh when choosing a design. You are not alone, sister! My 3 steps to choosing the best Showit design will guide you to make the best choice.
Step 1: Design
What’s your business style? How well does it reflect your personality? It is OK to have your website match your personality. If you’re more classy, have your website reflect that. If you’re more on the goofy side, showcase that. People like a lot of different things, and you are bound to find your people when you fully embrace your business style. The more you embrace yourself through your business, the easier it will be to attract the people you want and detract the people you don’t want. (Check out this interview with @SharonSaysSo to learn more about this topic.)
Anyway, back to design. Showit offers TONS of easy-to-use website templates that you can convert into your business website. If you are new to Showit, click here to learn about why you should use it as your website builder. I’ve loved using it and it really can make a huge difference in your business representation.
If you want to elevate your template choices, you can check out my recently designed Showit templates here. I created six different templates strategically designed to make you more money for your business. I specialize in helping entrepreneurs take their business from a side hustle to the real deal, so I’ve learned that a professional and inviting website is key to having business built to last.
Step 2: Budget
When you think about your budget, you have to compare hiring a designer versus purchasing a template. You can get a quote from both and weigh your pros and cons and then decide which one you’d like better.
There are a few benefits to getting a designer that may seem more appealing to you than buying a template. For example, getting a designer means you won’t have to worry about any of the tediousness or extra time devoted to upgrading your website. Also, having someone design it for you may have more attention to the detail to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Plus, the designer works for you, so you will always have the final say on what your website will look like.
If you want more of a say in the design process, a template will be your better option. Luckily, Showit makes it incredibly easy to customize your template when adding your branding messages and colors. If you find a template you already love without needing to add more effects or design to it, this could work better for you.
Step 3: Time
Time. Perhaps this is the step most valuable to us working mamas. This is another reason I highly recommend Showit. Showit has several functions that make it easy and quick to design the website you will love and want to share with your clients.
Whatever route you choose, I will say putting in the time is worth it. I know time is so precious to us mamas and that’s why I find the best ways for you to run and grow your business that will give you more time with your family. Your business deserves time in order for it to turn into one built to last. And, of course your family deserves your time too. I’m here to tell you, you can give time to both and succeed in both! It’s quite the balancing act, but definitely worth it.
I hope my 3 steps to choosing the best Showit design will help you decide what’s best for you and your business. Investing in yourself is always the right thing to do. The more you go all in, the more rewarding you will feel.
