Best Camera Bags for the Mom, Photographer and Girl on the Go
Let’s take a minute and chat bags. I get asked a lot which camera bag, diaper bag and purse I use. The answer to all of those is the same: JoTotes.

My camera bag.
I didn’t know that I needed a backpack camera bag, but when I first used it on my family trip to Alaska, I fell in love. I carted around my laptop (there’s a pocket for that) my camera and my baby’s necessities over glaciers and through small fishing towns.

I also love it on shoots. I used to leave my camera bag in the bushes as I moved throughout my shoot (I move a lot). Sometimes I would misplace my bag or worry that someone might take it. Not now. The backpack makes it convenient to take along with me as I shoot. This bag is where its at.
My diaper bag.
My little Miss Scarlett is still in diapers and with five kids, I need a big bag that carries everything. Look at all of those compartments! So, while it is technically a camera bag, it is perfect for all of my daily necessities. Those compartments are all velcro so that you can customize them. I make one compartment for diapers and wipes, one for my snacks and treats and one for my wallet. Then there are A LOT of pockets for my lipsticks, phone and keys.
My overnight bag.
The last few months, I have been traveling to speak places and to go on short family trips. The Wyndham bag is the best. It is just the right size for a quick trip. We recently went to San Diego and spent the morning at the La Jolla tide pools. This bag kept everything nice and organized.
Last is my purse.
I take this little beauty with me whenever I slip away without kids. It fits my camera with my 50 mm 1.2 lens, wallet, gum, lip gloss, and everything I need for me on the go. And don’t I look super chic visiting 7 Magic Mountains? I mean, come on.
