How to Use ManyChat to Generate Sales
ManyChat has tons of tricks up its sleeve, and one of my favorites is how it can help generate more sales for your business. This chatbot marketing tool has helped my leads skyrocket in a matter of months. And not only that, but my sales have increased as well. When you make it easy for your leads to get what they want, then they are more likely to buy–and ManyChat is how you make it easier. Here’s how to use ManyChat to generate sales.

How to Use ManyChat to Create a Sales Funnel
One of the most common ways influencers use ManyChat is to initiate their sales funnel. You may have seen posts on Instagram where influencers are talking about a certain product or idea and they’ll only give you a piece of the information in the post. Then they’ll tell you to comment a certain word if you want to learn more about it. This certain word is a trigger word that tells the ManyChat bot to send you a message in your DMs. (Click HERE to see an example of how this works.)
From there, the chatbot will ask you certain questions, and depending on your response, it will provide you with the information you are looking for. Most likely, this information will lead you to subscribe to an email list, to a blog post on a website, to an affiliate link where you can purchase the product, etc.
Setting up this automated sales funnel is something you can do through ManyChat. You get to decide on the wording for those automated DMs, so they come out as if you were really live chatting with each person. This is an amazing tool because you still give your leads a personalized experience without having to spend extra time or money doing so. Plus, you are generating leads and guiding them to buy from you! It’s a win-win for both sides.
How to Use ManyChat to Qualify Leads
It’s one thing to use ManyChat to find leads, but how do you qualify your leads? ManyChat can help you organize your leads into the areas where they want help. If you have multiple sales funnels set up with ManyChat you will start to have leads pour in and it’ll be overwhelming to know who to put where.
In the initial conversation your leads have with the chatbot, you can set it up where they answer questions to determine what they are interested in, fill out contact info, and even set up an appointment. All of this can be automated, so you no longer have to spend the mental energy on scheduling. Let the chatbot handle this part so you can focus on the content creation and actual meetings with your new potential clients.

The first step to using ManyChat to close deals is to integrate ManyChat with your marketing and CRM platforms. From there, your chatbot will help streamline your sales efforts with the leads you generate on these platforms. I mainly use ManyChat on Instagram, but it can integrate with several different platforms. You can even integrate it into your email and text marketing.
To close deals with your leads, you want to make it as easy as possible for them to get from one point to the next. First of all, let’s make sure we know the difference between upselling and cross-selling. Upselling is when you offer a more valuable version of the product your customer is interested in. Cross-selling is when you offer similar products to the customer based on the order they just made.
Both of these sales strategies are highly effective, especially when you use persuasive writing and marketing. ManyChat allows you to set up a chatbot that can send confirmation emails that include a cross-sell in them. It also has the function to offer upselling when your customer is shopping on your site. This is just another way for you to automate your strategy and generate more sales!

As a wise business owner, you want to keep track of your sales results. It’s good to know what prompted your customers to buy and what content persuaded them to do so.
