As part of Vero, you get to choose who can see your content in one easy swipe.  You can categorize each of your posts into close friends, friends, acquaintances and followers. This keeps your content safe because you don’t have to broadcast every post to every person you are connected to.  And, the person who is following you doesn’t know which level of connection you have chosen for them, so no awkward conversations about that.

Different types of content

You can post six different types of content: pictures, links, music, movies, books and places.  Then it creates a folder for each of those different types of content.  So, if someone wants to come and see only my videos, they click on my video folder and can watch everything I’ve created.  I especially love the link feature because it makes integrating your social media content with your website seamless (no more “click on my link in the profile”).

I know what you’re thinking, really? one more platform. I know, I know.  But, this one has really great promise.  It is rising up at just the right time when people are getting fed up with Facebook and Instagram.  Also, they are offering free membership for life for the first million users. Seems like a no brainer to go ahead and create an account.
