Pros

• Automated 24/7 customer support
• Expedites your opt-in process and lead generation
• Makes it easier for people to click your links (instead of having to say “link in bio”)
• Increases engagement in comments and DMs
• Can personalize the automated messages so they fit your brand
• Offers templates to set up your chatbot marketing

Cons

• Can be difficult to understand as a beginner 
• Poor customer support 
• Lacks step-by-step guidance for using its features effectively
• Limited access to customizing templates to fit your brand 

ManyChat can be overwhelming when you first begin. However, there is a ton of support out there from other users that you can draw from. ManyChat has a Facebook group where people are providing support there. Also, there are YouTube tutorials you can check out that will walk you through how to create what you want to do. Is ManyChat Worth the Money?

ManyChat is definitely worth the money. You can start with the free version to see if it’s something you want to continue using. As you test it out and see if it brings you more leads and growth then you can upgrade to the pro version which starts at $15/month.

ManyChat Alternatives

There are hundreds of chatbot marketing alternatives out there, but ManyChat’s main competitors include Tidio, LiveChat, and Birdeye. These 3 ManyChat alternatives have plenty to offer and can help improve your business insights. As mentioned earlier, I personally use ManyChat because I like the ease of it and have seen incredible growth since I started using it. But let’s see if these competitors are worth a comparison! 

 

Tidio

Tidio has very similar functions to ManyChat. It is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform that offers a live chat tool and chatbot to interact with your customers in real time. You can use Tidio with Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Zapier, and more. It has a drag-and-drop feature when building your chatbot and offers 24/7 customer support. 

 

LiveChat 

LiveChat’s main function is in its name. It allows you to live chat with your customers straight from your website and other platforms like Slack and WhatsApp. It’s pretty simple to use and helps improve your customer relationship management. However, it does not offer a chatbot feature and the starter package starts at $16/month.

 

Birdeye

Birdeye is another fair competitor of ManyChat. It offers many regular CRM features, but its main focus is to help offer tools that nurture your leads and turn them into repeat buyers. It has a wide scope of communication channels and offers a help desk ticketing system that helps keep your customer inquiries organized. 

 

How ManyChat Compares to Other Chatbot Platforms

ManyChat is definitely one of the most affordable chatbot platforms out there. You can’t beat the free version option and the pro version only beginning at $15/month. Tidio also offers a free plan and offers very similar features to ManyChat, so that is definitely its closest competitor. LiveChat and Birdeye do not offer a free plan, but both offer fast response times and sales-oriented CRM. While these platforms focus on those features, you can still receive these same features with ManyChat.
