July is coming up fast! At the end of each month, I like to plan my content for the month that is coming up. This way I can go into a new month with my content ready to go! It makes my life a lot easier. Now that we are coming into July, let’s talk about content creation for July. What should you post and Pin in July? I’ve got some suggestions to get you started.
Pinterest Trends for July
July is a transitional month. It’s the middle of the summer and we are starting to look ahead to school starting and fall coming in a few months. Many people are heading outside and on vacation. We are also doing some organizing and purging. Here’s what is great to Pin in July:
I know that it might seem crazy to Pin items relating to Thanksgiving in July, but these Pins are already getting traction on Pinterest! Keeping up with the pinning trends on Pinterest is a great way to get exposure on Pinterest. When you are more active and deliberate with your Pinning strategy on Pinterest, it can really help your overall business growth. Content Creation for July
When you are creating your social media and blog content for July, keep in mind the holidays that are happening. The biggest ones in North America are Canada Day and Independence Day. Did you know July is:
- National Blueberry Month
- National Hot Dog Month
- Anti-Boredom Month
- Family Reunion Month
Any of these topics are great for content creation for July. You can easily create a series of social media posts off of these topics.
For example: This year, I’m pretty sure all kids in the world and their moms are fighting boredom. We’ve been in the house for months without our usual activities. Think about what your audience needs and also what is going on in July that you can utilize for your content creation.
