How to Customize ManyChat Templates for Your Business

Once you set up your ManyChat account, you can go to the Templates section and start creating your very own templates. As you create the templates, they will show up in the templates section of your ManyChat profile. This is where you can keep track of the templates you create and refer back to them as you go along.

There are so many templates to choose from, but I will focus on a handful that will make the most difference in your business. Whether you are serving 100 people or more than 100 thousand people, these templates and flows will be a game-changer for your business!  

 

 

ManyChat Flows for Businesses of All Sizes

ManyChat has a flow builder that gives you a more visual experience when creating templates for your business. This flow builder makes it faster and easier for you to create the sequence you want your customers to follow and lets you see the entire flow from a bird’s-eye view from start to finish. 

As you create your flow, it may look like it’s all over the place. But ManyChat will help you organize it! You can zoom in and out to look at specific steps and you also have the option to “auto-arrange” which puts your flow in a format that is easy to follow. 

What exactly are the “flows” you create? These flows include the conversations your leads will have with the chatbot that will lead them to your site, to purchase a product, etc. You can choose the theme of the flow and then customize it to make it fit your brand voice. 

Some flow themes include:

• Reminding your customer of the item in their cart. 
• Letting your customer know when an item they are interested in is back in stock.
• Leading them to sign up for your email list to get their requested freebie. 
• Leading them to a blog post on your site that will get them more info on the content they showed interest in. 

These are just a few ways you can use flows, but the list goes on and on. It’s so fun to create the flows because you get to decide what it looks and sounds like and you can come back to change it any time you want. The best part is that once it is set up, it’s all automated so your chatbot keeps working for you without you having to even think about it! 

 

ManyChat Flows for Specific Marketing Goals

One of my absolute favorite things about ManyChat is how it’s helped me meet specific marketing goals. It’s even surpassed my expectations which has been really cool to see. I started using ManyChat to help grow my email list and only after a few short months it TRIPLED my email list! And it grows more and more every day. 

If you have the same goal to grow your email list, you can use ManyChat to set up a “trigger word” on your posts where if your followers comment that word they will have a message automatically sent to them. Tips for Using ManyChat Templates and Flows Effectively

It can be a little confusing when you’re just starting out on ManyChat, so here are my tips for using ManyChat templates and flows effectively: 

• Start with an opt-in growth tool. (This is what I mentioned earlier about setting up a “trigger word” on your posts that will get your followers on their DM journey to sign up for your email list.)
• Next, set up default or automated replies to those who reach out to you wanting to opt in. 
• Create “rules” for your automation which will help your flows stay on track to meeting your end-all objectives. You can find the “Rules” section on ManyChat under the automation tab. 
• Know what your objectives are BEFORE you start creating flows. Knowing this will help you know what flows to create and how to word each part of it so it leads your customers to where you want them to go.
